About Cynthia

Cynthia Ghiron received an M.A. in Guidance and Counseling from the University of Colorado,

Cynthia has completed Jin Shin Jyutsu training with Mary Burmeister and has completed her Reiki Master Degree in the Usui Shiki Ryoho method of Reiki. She completed the Advanced Training in the Hakomi method of body-based psychotherapy.

She completed the Jon Kabat Zinn training in Mindfulness-based Stress Reduction. In 1999, Cynthia pioneered the use of Tai Chi in a CardiacRehab program called H.E.A.R.T. Program at the Colorado Cardiovascular Center.

Cynthia has studied Tai Chi in China at the Lanting Institute at Wuyi Mountain in 1986. She also did an intensive study of the Chinese culture, calligraphy, and poetry.

Cynthia has been working with clients in the Boulder area since 1984.

Jin Shin Jyutsu – Courage to overcome fear of my disease

Tai Chi Class – Spiritually uplifting mind-body experience

My introduction to Tai Chi was in Cynthia Ghiron’s Tai Chi classes at the YMCA in Boulder.
